Donor Awareness Council Gains New National Spokesperson DENVER (December 7, 2005) The Donor Awareness Council once again has a national celebrity representing organ and tissue donation from our region. We are delighted to tout the recent achievement of one of our volunteers. Brittany Kaiser of Cheyenne, Wyoming, who is Miss Junior Teen Wyoming, was recently crowned Miss America's Choice National Teen at the Grand National Pageant in Orlando, Florida. Brittany will spend the next year as National Teen promoting her platform, Say 'Yes' to Organ and Tissue Donation! Brittany promoted this platform while competing at the national pageant, including setting up a table displaying information about organ and tissue donation. She answered questions and informed people who stopped by her table how to sign up to become organ and tissue donors. She handed out Donate Life America inserts on becoming organ and tissue donors and told her personal story (please see photos below). Not only was Brittany crowned as Miss America's Choice National Teen, but she also won Photogenic, Academic & Leadership and the Spirit award. If you would like to have Brittany speak to an organization or group in your area, please contact the Donor Awareness Council at (888) 388-8605 or send us an email via our contact page.
